Lankford Issues Statement Following Growing Partnership to Support Armed Forces at Fort Sill

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Senator James Lankford (R-OK) issued a statement following an expansion at Lawton Fort Sill’s Fires Innovation Science and Technology Accelerator (FISTA) Innovation Park, a leading center for technological advancement and home to the Joint Counter small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-sUAS) University (JCU) based in Lawton, Oklahoma. 

“Oklahoma continues to put the ‘state’ in our state-of-the-art military. The FISTA Innovation Park in Lawton streamlines collaboration and enables the Army to utilize advancements to modernize our defense capabilities. This continued partnership is an exciting way to pioneer counter-UAS technologies to defend against threats America faces at home and abroad.” said Lankford.
