Senator Lankford Announces Communications Director

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Senator James Lankford (R-OK) today announced the promotion of Aly Beley to Communications Director. Since March 2015, Beley has worked for Lankford as Press Secretary. 

“Aly has been a tremendous asset to my team and to all Oklahomans for the past three and a half years,” said Lankford. “As a clear and concise communicator with a heart of service Aly prioritizes the needs of Oklahomans to ensure they have the ability to access the work of my office when I’m in DC or traveling around the state. I am grateful she has agreed to take on this new role, and I am confident she will continue to serve the state well.”

Prior to joining Lankford’s staff, she worked for five years in state government, most recently for Kansas State Senate President Susan Wagle (R-KS). Beley is a native of Wichita, KS and received her undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas.

Lankford’s previous Communications Director, DJ Jordan, left last month to work for the Pinkston Group, a PR firm in Northern Virginia.
