Senator Lankford Meets with Supreme Court Nominee Neil Gorsuch

WASHINGTON, DC – Senator James Lankford (R-OK) today met with federal appellate judge for the US Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, Neil Gorsuch, who is President Donald Trump’s nominee to be Associate Justice for the US Supreme Court.

“I was glad to be able to speak with Judge Gorsuch about his qualifications to serve on the Court. We discussed his judicial philosophy, as well as the need for the Courts to respect the separation of powers between the federal government, states, and the three equal branches of government,” said Lankford. “I enjoyed our conversation, and I look forward to his confirmation hearing.”
