Senator Lankford Statement on Keystone XL and Dakota Access Executive Actions

WASHINGTON, DC –Senator James Lankford (R-OK) today released the following statement on President Trump’s executive action to advance the Keystone XL and Dakota Access pipelines: 

“I applaud today’s executive actions from the President to move the Keystone XL and Dakota Access Pipelines forward, along with the thousands of jobs that come with it. There has been an open and methodical process for both projects and now it’s time to move ahead. The Obama administration delayed the Keystone XL Pipeline for years, even though his own State Department said it had no significant impact on climate. It’s time to move energy forward.”
