VIDEO: Lankford Praises Passage of Resolution with Senator Inhofe, Releases Special OKC Bombing Anniversary Memorial Video
WASHINGTON, DC— While praising the passage of a Senate resolution authored by Senators Jim Inhofe and James Lankford to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Oklahoma City bombing, Lankford released a special memorial video to remember the tragedy.

The text of the Senate resolution (S.Res.139) acknowledges the Oklahoma City bombing as one of the worst terrorist attacks on United States’ soil, killing 168 people and injuring more than 850. It commends the remarkable efforts of first responders in Oklahoma and across the nation that day and in the weeks following who lent their services to assist the injured, comfort the community, and provide support to those affected by the terrorist act. The resolution also celebrates the fulfillment of the Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum, and applauds the people of Oklahoma City for making tremendous progress over the past two decades, demonstrating perseverance as they stand as a beacon to the rest of the United States attesting to the strength of goodness in overcoming evil wherever it arises in our midst.
The entire Oklahoma Congressional Delegation also released a joint-press release on the 20th anniversary of the bombing.
