Lankford Announces Tulsa-native as Healthcare Legislative Assistant

WASHINGTON, DC – Senator James Lankford (R-OK) today announced that Ms. Cambridge Neal will fill the role of Legislative Assistant for all healthcare issues under both the Senate Finance and Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committees, including Medicare, Medicaid, rural health, and the overall response to the coronavirus pandemic.

“Cambridge has already served as a valuable resource to bring Oklahomans’ issues to Washington to get them resolved, and I know she will bring that same tenacity to her new position,” said Lankford. “She is studious, hard-working, and servant-hearted. She has consistently gone above and beyond to make sure we tackle the hard issues and fix as many as we can. Cambridge has been and will continue to be a valued member of our team, and I look forward to seeing her commitment to excellence in this new role.”

Originally from Tulsa, Neal has served in Lankford’s Washington, DC, office since June 2017. She began her service as Staff Assistant and most recently served as a Legislative Correspondent and Legislative Aide for her new legislative portfolio for two years. Neal graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2017.
