Lankford Focuses on US Energy, Supporting Ukraine, and Keeping Title 42 Authority at the Border

WASHINGTON, DC – Senator James Lankford (R-OK) joined Mornings with Maria on Fox Business to stand up for US energy production and supporting Ukraine with weaponry and aircraft, ahead of President Biden’s trip to Russia in which Lankford said the focus will likely be climate change and display continued weakness regarding the Russian invasion of Ukraine. Lankford also continued to highlight the importance of maintaining Title 42 authority to expel migrants at our southern border after we saw the highest numbers of border crossers in 20 years.

Lankford introduced a Senate resolution urging the Biden Administration to facilitate the transfer of aircraft, such as MiGs, and air defense systems to Ukraine. Lankford pushed for more aid for Ukraine in his reaction to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s address to Congress. Lankford has called on President Biden to work with Poland and our NATO allies to expedite the transfer of aircraft and air defense systems, as well as additional support capabilities, to Ukraine.
