Senator Lankford Announces Hire of Northwest Oklahoma Field Representative
WASHINGTON, DC – Senator James Lankford (R-OK) today announced the hire of Brookes Wright as Field Representative for northwest Oklahoma and Agriculture Policy Advisor. The job of Field Representative is to represent the Senator throughout the region at meetings and events. Brookes will be based in the Senator’s Oklahoma City office and will travel through northwest Oklahoma on a daily basis.
“I am pleased to have Brookes on our team,” said Lankford. “His experience and roots in northwest Oklahoma will be a great asset for my service to the region. I would encourage any northwest Oklahoman to reach out to Brookes when issues arise that need federal attention.”
Brookes is a recent graduate of The University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing with a minor in Political Science. He has experience working on the staff of the U.S. House Committee on Financial Services in Washington D.C. and in the Government Affairs Department of the Oklahoma State Chamber.

After serving four years in the U.S. House of Representatives, Lankford was sworn in as the 18th Senator from Oklahoma on January 6, to finish the remaining two years of retiring Senator Tom Coburn’s term, which will end January 2017.
